World Universities' Ranking on the Web

This website provides rankings of 1000 universities from all over the world on the basis of the volume of their web content, the numbers of links to the university, and the quantity of "rich" content (PDF and other documents deemed as more likely to contain substantive content). The approach used is described in an online document, "webometric indicators", and is of interest methodologically. The results provide a useful measure of knowledge output of 1000 universities.
