Telecentres in Libraries Email Discussion This discussion follows on from the article published by Book Aid International (BAI) in Volume 5 of Booklinks, available at www.bookaid.org/resources & downloads. The discussion saw contributions from a number of African librarians on why libraries have been largely excluded from the telecentre revolution when, since the late 1990s, telecentres have been set up across the developing world, many proving to be unsustainable, lacking the necessary infrastructure, staff and even the users to make them a success
