The Ambassador program is designed to involve members in ISOC's policy activities, while providing valuable expertise and know-how to the IGF proceedings. ISOC received over 40 expressions of interest from individuals around the world, making the program highly competitive.
In addition to a staff review, ISOC established a small Selection Committee comprised of individuals familiar with the Internet Governance Forum to evaluate applications.
