MySpace and YouTube are sending a pair of 'citizen reporters' to the annual World Economic Forum in Switzerland this week to do online video coverage for users of the popular websites. Rebecca McQuigg of Los Angeles will be on the scene for News Corp-owned MySpace while Pablo Camacho of Bogota, Colombia, will file video reports to a channel at Google-owned YouTube. McQuigg won a 'MySpace Journal' contest decided by judges including Arianna Huffington of the Huffington Post and the social-networking website's co-founder Chris DeWolfe. Camacho, a 24-year-old-student and musician, was among 250 'YouTubers' who submitted Davos Debates clips to the video-sharing website. The invitation-only Forum is being held from January 28 through February 1 in Davos-Klosters. More than 40 heads of state have reportedly confirmed they will attend the gathering of leaders from businesses, unions, and non-governmental organizations. Items on the agenda include the global economic turmoil and climate change.
