The global telecom services sector will "experience almost flat growth in 2009," and will increase in value by only 1 percent year-on-year to $1.4 trillion, according to a forecast from Pyramid Research .
In a new report, "Global Telecom Services Revenue Forecast 2008-2013: Emerging Market Opportunities," the Pyramid team notes that the market should recover and experience more robust growth in 2010, "driven by a combination of factors such as the increased availability of multiplay bundles as well as versatile and competitively priced devices, from handsets to laptops."
