Vodafone Launches Mobile Broadband Hotspot in Three European Markets

Vodafone is launching a new personal Mobile Broadband Hotspot device in Germany, Romania, and Spain, Mobile News reports.

The Vodafone Mobile Broadband Hotspot enables both consumer and business customers to connect several devices wirelessly either at home or in the office anywhere within the Vodafone Mobile Broadband Hotspot radius. The credit card sized device comes ready to use and does not require any software installation. Customers can connect to the Internet through any device which supports Wi-Fi. Devices must be within 10 meters from the device, but allows users to connect mobile phones, MP3 players, and other digital equipment which is wireless enabled—including typical mobile broadband devices such as netbooks and laptops. The device has expandable memory support for up to 16 GB via microSD, to enable users to store and share content such as documents, music, video, and pictures over Wi-Fi.
