New online content platform launches in Poland

Newsrom.TV, a new online TV platform, has launched in Poland, reports Media2.pl. The platform will be an internet-based, information TV agency, preparing high quality video content for the needs of Polish national and regional media. The launch comes in reaction to growing demand for video information materials from media, firms and institutions in the business sector. According to data from IAB Poland, Redefine and Gemius Megapanel, the popularity of online TV platforms in Poland is growing by about one million users per year. The growth is connected with the growing popularity of SmartTVs, smartphones and fast data transmission technologies. The platform Newsrm.TV will serve as a valuable source of information and video content in full HD, prepared by professional reporters. Traffic in leading internet TVs in Poland on nonPC platforms already makes up more than 40 percent of viewership on all platforms, leading to Newsrm.TV being available for online as well as mobile users. Platform director Andrzej Gurazda said services will be free upon login, to view or to publish. The Newsrm.TV studio is located in Warsaw.
Corporate clients will be able to view or use tailored news, live streaming, aerial photos and a virtual studio for interviews with experts as well as for specialised corporate video blogs.
