The interdisciplinary firm 300.000 km/s has created Geographies of Innovation, an elaborated data visualization site which maps factors that influence where innovation occurs in Barcelona.
This project has been developed under the direction of Vicente Guallart, chief architect of the city since 2011, and aims to assess the urban conditions for a suitable implementation of innovative initiatives. Beyond their individual success, the impact of research and innovation facilities is evaluated on an urban scale.
